I don't know what should I do when I'm free no task no college life like this. So, I think I'll share my skincare regimen where looks so exhausting. But I feel my skin better than before. For your information, my skin is combination-sensitive and acne-prone in cheeks only. My T-zone often very oily but my cheeks feel so dry and need more moisturizer. So, I think it's the reason why acne-prone only at my cheeks, because it's dry. Eventhough, before that my skin is very oily and acne prone almost all my face. But I think my skin adjust to the environment lately and the use of drugs the doctor who quit almost 2 years ago. You know, environment is unstable and unpredictable. Now can rain then sweltering. I always use air conditioner lately although the temperature is around 24-27C but that's still can makes your skin dry and sensitive sometimes. So, if you have skin condition like me, maybe you can add my skincare regimen to your skincare regimen too. But it's back to your reality skin condition. You can feel it and choose your own skin needs. So, let's get started!
If you know korean skincare regimen, you'll feel so exhausting. And my skincare regimen like korean girls. My skin care include :
- Toner
- Essence
- Serum
- Emulsion
- Gel Cream
But before share my skincare regimen, I'll share information about what toner, essence, serum, emulsion and gel cream? Why I use emulsion and gel cream, or what the differences of serum and essence?
Essence and serum sound like they’re similar but the biggest difference is serums are able to hold more concentrated active ingredients than essences can. You could use both in your routine but again, both aren’t always necessary. "Both essence and serums are used at the same treatment step of skincare to achieve similar results. There may be small differences in texture, but now the lines are increasingly blurry," Sokmin Yu, the head of Korean cosmetics lab Cosmax USA, explains. But I think the differences between essence and serum is about texture and consistency. Essence's texture is watery and serum's texture is more oily. And if you can choose well, both essence and serum can works better together than just use serum or essence only. But some of serum or essence can works alone. Some essence ingredients include serum, ampoule even booster. But if you feel still need a serum, I think it's okay when your skin can accept it well. Before it, I really don't know about skincare regimen well. Moreover, you know I love everything about korea. And you know too if korean girls looks so young and have a glowing skin. Sure, Who don't wanna have it? So, if you still confused about korean skincare regimen, you can search on google and many bloggers or website already write down about it. Honestly, I still confused but the conclusion of korean skincare regimen, that's really exhausting and you must wake up early so you don't be late.
Emulsion? Gel Cream? What's that?
Emulsion basically a light-weight, non-sticky, water-based basic moisturizer. It has the ability to retain hydration level and prevent moisture loss from our skin surface. It is very beneficial for people with oily skin, as it is water base, it does not cause pore clogging issues. Oily skin still need a moisturizer but if your skin is very oily, you can choose emulsion to your moisturizer. But if your skin is dry, I don't think if emulsion is suitable to resolve it. So, you can choose cream. Because dry skin is need more moisturizer and cream is more oily not water-based like emulsion. But if you have combination skin like me, you can choose using gel cream after emulsion. But if you don't found gel cream in your favorite brand, you still can choose cream but apply only in your dry area or apply thin without excessive. Because maybe it's can make your T-zone more oily.
Most of us probably grew up understanding what toner is. It was the step used after cleansing to restore the skin’s PH balance and sometimes to also remove any traces of dirt your cleanser missed. In general cleansers on the market today are more gentle than they used to be so many skincare experts believe there isn’t always a need for toner in your routine. This isn’t to say if you use one you shouldn’t be using it—if it works for you by all means of course, use it. Toners used to get a bad rap for being over-drying and filled with alcohol but even the ones today are more gentle and softer. You’d pick a toner based on your skincare type and needs—there are hydrating toners, oil-controlling toners, brightening toners—you name it. I think it's like exofoliation toner. The scent very fresh like cherry and watery. I think this toner just like cleansing water, not pre-essence or pre-serum because after I use it and evidently my face still dirty although already wash my face. It's refreshing my face after I washed my face and more moisturize than I wash my face only. And if you think wash your face is enough, you wrong. Because when you apply this toner after you washed your face, you will know if your face still get dirty. I don't get breakout anything after use this toner. I really love it. This toner is worth it to buy. So, if you wanna find toner for cleansing and exofoliation, this is the best for you. The size and price very worth it. It's already 1 year and not yet exhausted. I will repurchase again.

I don't know how much I love this essence. The effect of this essence is not quickly. But your waiting time is not vain. Honestly, I don't like this essence scent. Maybe I've never drink or use alcohol or wine, so I don't like. If you a skincare junkie, surely you know this best seller essence the most. Every beauty blogger have this essence. I use it for 6 months and my skin got better. Honestly last year, I've already use this essence but my skin got breakout and I go to doctor, so I stopped this essence. But now, I really fall in love with this essence. The price is too pricey for college student. But believe me, this essence is the best option for you. But you must be patient because the effect is not quickly and you will not regret it anymore. This essence can your face more glowing and decreased your face oil. And surely, this effect not quickly too.

So, for my result of this product is really satisfied. I feel my skin
so smooth and elastic. Although I use it for 3-5 days but it's feel
really different than before. My redness because of acne, slowly is
dissapear and my skin looks better than just use SK II. I think SK II
and Sulwhasoo is the best partner ever. I know it's damn expensive but
really worth it for your skin investment.
So, if you
wanna ask me which is the best between Sulwhasoo or SK II, I'll answer
they both of them is the best. And if you wanna compare Sulwhasoo with
History of Whoo, I think it's the same but Sulwhasoo is the first
premium skincare before History of Whoo. For the price, both of them
almost the same. But now, I wanna try Sulwhasoo and I don't know why.
Although I know Sulwhasoo should be used for women with age above 25.
But you must know if my skin is older than my real age. So, before it's
late, I think I'll give more investment for my skin. This month,
Sulwhasoo's price increased 10-15% and finally I buy the real size
eventhough I used it for a weeks. I feel satisfied and believe to buy
the real size. I'll updated again about this serum later.

I don't know how to describe this emulsion. I was use it for 2 years and I love it too much. I think when I use this emulsion, my skin is reduce sebum and feel not dry or not oily. But now my skin is combination because the environment and usually use AC or Air-Conditioner. My skin is not enough if I just use this emulsion for one day. I still need a cream or gel cream because my skin is combination-sensitive now. I feel my skin being smooth and more moist than I not use this emulsion. Seems, I'm already make a review about this emulsion on july 2014. And I think I can't tell you more because full review already written on july. And I'll tell you the conclusion about this my favorite emulsion.
Conclusion :
Make your skin moist and smooth. I feel can reduce sebum or if you have an oily skin, you can use it because oily skin is also need a moisturizer. And if you have super oily skin, emulsion or gel cream is the best moisturizer. But if you have a combination skin like me, you can use an emulsion plus gel cream or cream if you have a dry patches on your skin. So far I love this emulsion so much. My skin feel glow and moist, surely. You must try it at least one or if you still doubt, you can buy sample size.

5. Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream
They Claims :
Gel type moisturizing cream

And last, I use this gel cream. Why I use sample size? It's because I use it for 3 weeks recently and I'm not yet sure for use it long term. But so far I love the scent because it's like water sleeping mask. I feel not sticky and quick absorb on my skin well. I feel not breakout and not make an acne. Make my skin more moist than if I just use an emulsion. My skin feel elastic and glowing like korean people or maybe Song Hye Kyo. But that's impossible XD. Maybe if I use it routinely, my skin being not dry or not oily. But I can't tell you more because I use it for almost 3 weeks only. Next I'll update it again later.
